SM changes strategy for ZhuChenChen - new member of SJ

Recently, Chinese entertainment industry has been full of rumors that famous Korean boyband Super Junior will add Zhu Chen Chen- the second Chinese member who will appear this July. SM doesn’t want to make a big noise in public to avoid disorder caused by fans as the case of Henry before. However, after knowing this, fans of SJ had other actions to prevent adding more members into SJ. Now, they have collected 1 billion won to buy stock of SM.

To deal with this action, SM changes strategy for new member Zhu Chen Chen. According to a newest information, Zhu Chen Chen is doing a special dance training course in Hong Kong. Jang Woo Hyuk, Aaron Kwok Fu-Shing, Jang Na Ra have also attended in this course. After this training course ends, Zhu Chen Chen will come back to Beijing to finish his studying. After that, he will come to Korea to train with the rest of SJ.
SM has changed completely the initial plan for Zhu Chen Chen. This year, he will launch a new album before entering SJ officially.
A person knows the detail said "SM does this not only to improve popularity of the singer but also to judge the attention of audience toward his fame and talent. All must be decided by musical market. SJ isn't a boyband which anyone can enter.
"Now, SM is inviting some famous music composers who have written songs for Rain to compose music for the new album of Zhu Chen Chen. In this album, Zhu Chen Chen, Hankyung, and the Chinese member of SJ will perform a song together.

SJ and SNSD will join Kangta's final concert before serving his military duty

On March 29-30, popular singer Kangta will hold his two final concerts, namely "Eternity," before serving his military duty at Yonsei University. FT Island, Malaysia tour

After promotions in Thailand last December 17-19, 2007, FT Island is holding its first promotions in Malaysia from March 27-31. The group is leaving Korea on the 27th and will stay in Malaysia for 5 days and 4 nights.
On the 28th, FT Island will be busy doing media interviews and guestings in 8TV and 98.8FM radio. The next day, a fan meeting and fan signing event will take place.
The group is scheduled to hold a concert on the 30th at the Sunway Lagoon with 3,000 people and will be performing live songs from its first album, “Cheerful Sensibility.”
“We’re very happy to be able to visit Japan, Thailand and now Malaysia. Thanks. We’ll do our best and give a great performance,” FT Island expressed.
On the other hand, FT Island is set to leave on April 11 for its concert in Thailand on April 12.

Super Junior China Is Set To Debut on April 1

SM Entertainment has announced the Debut of Super Junior China against ELF's protests, dismissing any doubt of the subgroups being just a rumored. The supgroup is set to officially begin their Chinese activities on April 1 when their MV will be released, which will be the Chinese version of "U", Super Junior's hit MV back in 2006.

SNSD Tae Yeon to be Radio DJ

Highly capable entertainer Jo Jung-Rin is leaving MBC FM4U’s ‘Close Friends.’Jo Jung-Rin, who first grabbed the microphone as a DJ in April of 2004, decided to finish the Spring season and step down from the position she has held for the past four years.One official at MBC radio said: “For a variety of reasons the withdrawal of Jo Jung-Rin’s position has been decided. SNSD’s Taeyeon is in the strongest position to become the replacement.”Taeyeon has been confirmed as the new DJ and will have her first broadcast on April 8th.

Hyunbin returns to the big screen with Lee Bo Young

Heartthrob Hyunbin is finally coming back to big screen after two years. Hyunbin will star in a low-budget movie titled I’m Happy (나는 행복합니다) with actress Lee Bo Young (Ji Sung’s girlfriend) next week.
Hyunbin plays a character who acquires a psychological disorder after living with his mom who suffers from Alzheimer’s and his older brother who is addicted to gambling. Lee Bo Young plays the nurse who treats Hyunbin.

SS501 Kim Hyun Joong, leg injury

SS501’s comeback in the Korean music scene is facing a challenge because the group’s leader, Kim Hyun Joong, injured his right leg during the rehearsal for SBS “Inkigayo” last March 23. Although not present during the opening of the show, Kim Hyun Joong still performed “Deja vu” with the rest of the group.
Kim Hyun Joong’s leg did not recover completely and he got a check-up today, March 25. According to results, his leg injury was more serious than they thought but he is currently scheduled for an MRI exam. Based from the available exam results, it is possible that Kim Hyun Joong will have his right leg in a cast.
According to DSP, the group’s label, Kim Hyun Joong still wants to push through with SS501’s schedule despite his leg injury. Also, DSP already foresees that there is going to be problems with activities now that one of the members is injured.

Eric back to acting

Shinhwa member Eric was casted as the lead in the new adventure-period drama of KBS2 entitled “Chil Woo, the Best,” which starts airing on June 9. In the drama, which is set in the Joseon era, Eric plays the role of Kang Chil Woo, who is an official in the Public Prosecutor’s Office by day and an assassin by night.
According to Top Class, Eric’s agency, after this drama, Eric will be enlisting in the army in September.

Super Junior leaves MCountdown

Super Junior is leaving the MC seat of Mnet “MCountdown” after 2 years and 4 months of hosting the said show. The episode on the 27th will be Lee Teuk, Shindong and Eunhyuk’s last day in the show.
Super Junior started hosting the show in November 2005 with members Lee Teuk, Shindong and Kangin then the latter left and Eunhyuk filled in.
According to SM Entertainment, the group’s label, the reason for leaving was because of preparations for their new album and Asian tour.
Meanwhile, it still has not been decided who will take Super Junior’s place as the show’s MCs.

Epik High 5th album, coming soon

Epik High is set for its 5th album comeback in mid-April!
This great news was posted by Tablo in an entry, which he titled “Epik News,” in his mini homepage on March 22. Tablo posted that the album is called “Pieces, Part One,” which he explained is, by far, “the most personal work” he has done. He also mentioned that for 3 months, his life just revolved around the recording room.
