Kim Tae Hee showed off her miniature face during a face size competition with ex T.T.Ma member, Soy in her latest Corn Silk Tea CF, confirming her top star status with her 12 cm face.

Yuon eun hye in Zipel CF

CF Queen will always be Yoon Eun Hye’s title as she lands herself on another deal contract in CF industry. Samsung Electronics was searching for a new fresh and vibrant face to represent their premium refrigerator brand, ZIPEL.
Yoon Eun Hye, the selected model, signed a 1 year contract with Samsung Electronics, where she will be the new face for the brand. Cha Im Pyo and Kim Nam Joo were the previous models for ZIPEL.

According to Samsung Electronics’ representative, ” We chose Yoon Eun Hye as our new model because we believe that one of Yoon Eun Hye’s assets is her friendly and familiar on-screen presence which reaches out to all ages.”
” Yoon Eun Hye can effectively portray both a bright and vibrant image but she also has the ability to add a sense of sophistication to that image. Hence, we strongly believe that with the help of Yoon Eun Hye, we will be able to change ZIPEL to a more fresh and youthful image, and we are definitely looking forward to that.”
Yoon Eun Hye expressed herself that as an actress, she always wanted to be the face of an electrical home appliance and now she feels like she finally achieved her dreams. She also added ” I will try my best to act with a new freshness to represent and become one with the Zipel brand ”

The closest thing to a real Korean “world star”

Super(duper) Hallyu star Jang Dong Gun’s recent fanmeeting (scheduled to coincide with his birthday, as many fanmeets do) reportedly attracted fans from — get this — sixteen different countries. Wow. I guess that’s a promising factoid to keep in mind when considering his upcoming role in the Hollywood flick Laundry Warrior (costarring Kate Bosworth and Geoffrey Rush, produced by the people who brought you the Lord of the Rings), for which he just finished filming in New Zealand.
The 36-year-old has returned to Korea for the first time in six months, and held his birthday bash on March 8 (his birthday’s the 7th) in Seoul’s Coex Auditorium; it’s his first fanmeeting in Korea in two years (he did hold one last March in Japan).
In attendance were a thousand fans who came from countries including but not limited to: Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the United States, England, Costa Rica, and Mexico.
From Jang’s Mexican fan club: “I’m so happy to be able to meet Jang Dong Gun in person like this for the first time” and “Jang Dong Gun is really popular in Mexico.”
Jang Dong Gun showed footage he’d taken himself while in New Zealand for filming, which included not only everyday events but also him hanging out with the Hollywood film crew. The event was emceed by Kim Jae Dong, and included guests Sung Shi Kyung, Fly to the Sky, Gong Hyung Jin, Han Jae Seok, Hyun Bin, and Shin Mina.

Girls’ Generation, image model of “X5 DIC”

Popular group Girls’ Generation signed a 1-year contract with mobile multimedia brand “Viliv.” The girls’ advertisements for its PMP (Portable Media Player) “X5 DIC” is planned to be released this April.
“We selected them because of their overflowing personalities, which we feel make them most suited for Viliv’s brand,” an official of Viliv commented on why Girls’ Generation was chosen as the brand’s image model.
Girls’ Generation finished shoots for its outdoor advertisement last March 3 and will be filming for a commercial on the 5th.
