Solbi confesses "I'll get jealous when I see Andy with other girls"

Typhoon's Solbi, who has been appearing on We're Married on MBC's Sunday Sunday Night with Andy as a newlywed couple, has garnered much attention with her confession about Andy.In her personal interview, Solbi said, "Although we're only acting as a couple, Andy really feels like a real husband to me. Although I don't know if oppa has opened up his heart to me, but it doesn't feel like we're doing a show. It was so nice of him to go out in the rain to get coffee for me, wasn't that tough?" Andy to Hold his 1st Solo Concert in China

Shinhwa's Andy, who released his first solo album in early January and held his own solo concert, will be holding his first solo concert in Shanghai on 19/20 April. Til now he has had several concerts in China as part of Shinhwa, but it's his first as a solo artiste this time.Andy said, "Because it's my first solo concert overseas, so I'm really looking forward to it. Shinhwa member Andy was selected as Nivea’s image model for “Nivea Deodorant Pearl&Beauty.” As its image model, Andy will be participating in its launching event and convey a woman’s beauty and tenderness as how a man sees them.
“Andy ranked 1st place in a survey on an entertainer who has a soft charisma. He was made as the image model because he was deemed fit to convey a man’s opinion of a woman’s beauty,” an official from Nivea Seoul explained why Andy was picked as Nivea’s new image model.
In today’s launching event for Nivea’s new product, the MBC “We’re Married” hypothetical couple Andy and Solbi are to talk candidly about women’s beauty.

Eric back to acting

Shinhwa member Eric was casted as the lead in the new adventure-period drama of KBS2 entitled “Chil Woo, the Best,” which starts airing on June 9. In the drama, which is set in the Joseon era, Eric plays the role of Kang Chil Woo, who is an official in the Public Prosecutor’s Office by day and an assassin by night.
According to Top Class, Eric’s agency, after this drama, Eric will be enlisting in the army in September.

Shinhwa rescues Eric

Shinhwa are urban cowboys who band together to rescue their leader, Eric. The boys have come together to shoot their 9th music video at a studio in Gyonggi. Once the shooting wraps up and the video set for release, the members will join forces to perform on 2 nights (March 29th and 30th) at Olympic Park for the 10 year anniversary.

Shinhwa’s cliffhanging concerts at Nippon Budokan

Shinhwa’s planned 10th Anniversary concerts to be held at Nippon Budokan this April 18 and 19 were postponed. The legendary group’s last concert in Japan was in December in Tokyo and Nagoya.

According to an announcement on the 18th by Open World Entertainment, the company in charge of Shinhwa’s overseas performances, the Japanese promoter UDO Artists had quoted excessive production cost that caused the concerts at Nippon Budokan to be postponed.

“The concerts in April are postponed because UDO Artists demanded a higher concert production cost than what was talked about in December of last year. We’re going to consult a local accounting office and legal firm and do all possible ways to solve the issue,” Open World Entertainment clarified.

Open World also expressed its apology to fans who became victims of the current situation.

“We would like you to understand that this was done to prevent the problem beforehand.”

However, UDO Artists objected to Open World’s statements stating, “It’s true that the April concerts were postponed because of discussions with Open World. Actually, it was known that Shinhwa member Junjin has another plan on April 19. There aren’t problems regarding money but we’re negotiating it with Open World at the moment. News coming out are one-sided, which is disappointing.”

Shinhwa’s label in Japan also clarified something regarding the issue.

“Shinhwa members are doing their best to prepare for their Seoul concerts in March. Neither concerts in April nor postponement of them have been made final.

Eric’s loyalty saved Shinhwa

During OBS’s Watch Show and Watch movie, Kim Dong Wan stated Shinhwa was able to stay together for a decade while other idol groups have disbanded and moved on, because the six gents tried so hard to save the group. Specifically, when Eric was offered a huge contract after he rose to fame, he did not sign it because he wanted to keep the group together.
Kim Dong Wan also expressed his appreciation for SM training days during the interview. He said that as a SM trainee, he learned not only the necessary star skills, but also the persistence and the attitude needed to succeed. I doubt that’s what current SM trainees are thinking that now.

Andy gets strength from Shinhwa members

In the “Korea Idol” segment of the OBS show “Show Report, Movie Report,” which will be aired on February 9, Shinhwa member Andy expressed how other members helped him to finally come out solo.
“Going solo continually gives me fear and anxiety but because of the help from fans and Shinhwa members, I got the confidence to get on with it .
“Other members were always worried about me as I’m the youngest in the group. But I learned so much from the time I did the musical, album and now, television appearances. When I’m having a hard time, the members become my strength,” Andy said.

Shinhwa is not disbanding!

“Shinhwa is not disbanding!”
That was what Shinhwa member Kim Dongwan said during the recording of the “Korea Idol” (temporary title) segment of the OBS show “Show Report, Movie Report.”
“A lot of stories came out that Shinhwa will disband after the release of our 9th album in March, but those are not true. Solo and Shinhwa activities will still continue. The group has already reached its 10th year and rumors that Shinhwa’s disbanding is funny. We’re proud to say that our friendship is deeper than being brothers.
“I’m grateful to fans who have supported us until now for Shinhwa lasted this long because of them,” Kim Dongwan expressed.
The “Korea Idol” series will start airing on February 9.

Minwoo’s mini album

Lee Minwoo (M), who released his 3rd album last year, will be releasing a mini album as a special Valentine’s Day gift for his fans.
Aside from releasing this mini album called “M’s MINI ALBUM,” which consists of songs with jazz, soul and funky styles, Minwoo will also be holding concerts on February 16 and 17 at Sogang University’s Mary Hall.
