Kim Sun Ah Is A Girl Scout

Anyone miss this damn lucky-full of envyable factors-girl?she’s back in a movie somewhat has a similar genre to her previous She’s on Duty (where, if you don’t mind i recall our brokenhearted moment, she enthusiasticly -spelling check, please- smooched Gong Yoo by the end of the movie)

The new movie is Girl Scouts. Due to out in theatre some time soon, perhaps, according to my birds.

Girl Scout
Mi-kyung drives a van for a private tutor institute. Yi-man works part time at a local supermarket. Bong-sun lives with her sick children, and Eun-ji is being chased down because of her father’s debt. Nothing can get any worse for these women and they only dream to live a simple life in the future, but one day, they get themselves into a big mess when Hyae-ran runs off with their money. Mi-kyung gathers up others to catch her and get their money back, and this is how the “Bongchon 3-dong Girl Scout” was organized. As they fall deep into a cruel underground world, the situation turns for the worse.

Jang Dong Gun

Photobucket

This isn’t too different from the Hollywood system of things, if you substitute “talk show circuit” for the Korean variety programming mentioned below. You know, if an actor or personality appears on Letterman, Conan, or any of the other late-night (or early-morning) programs, chances are they’re hawking something, whether it’s a new movie, new book, new fragrance, new vanity athletic shoe line, new healthy-cooking meat griller, whatever. And similarly, in Hollywood, the bigger the star, the rarer the appearances (and the bigger the deal when they do appear). So to the following, I say, (1) makes sense, and (2) DUH.
Active stars who don’t appear on variety shows…?
“I’m not close with Jang Dong Gun. Please talk with his management.” “Please ask Mr. Jang Dong Gun and get him to appear.” Those are the words of [host] Kang Ho Dong on MBC’s popular program Goldfish. Kang Ho Dong never fails to ask for Jang Dong Gun to appear whenever the opportunity arises or a star connected to him comes on the show. In truth, he’s said that PD Lim Jung Ah is negotiating to get Jang Dong Gun to appear.

Yoon Eun Hye gets crafty

Photobucket
Perhaps looking to follow in the footsteps of fellow actors Jung Ryeo Won and Park Jiyoon, actress Yoon Eun Hye has expressed a desire to put together her own exhibition of photos and drawings.

Another case of a spoiled star indulging a vanity project? Well maybe, but maybe not.

Yoon Eun Hye’s rather well-known for her artistic inclinations; she even added her skills to the sets of Coffee Prince and gained the praise of the staff. Although she hasn’t taken formal instruction in photography, she explains in an interview for the cable special Yoon Eun Hye in New York that she hopes to one day (in the distant future) put on her own exhibit.

The program, which was taped while Yoon Eun Hye was in New York, shows her in Central Park, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and other sights around the city. (It airs its two episodes on the 18th and 25th on the lifestyle channel Olive.)
